Police arrested a 52-year-old foreign national in Rethymno for cultivating cannabis plants and possessing narcotics. Five cannabis plants, a quantity of MDMA, and a precision scale were seized.

The arrest took place today in the Municipality of Rethymno by officers of the Drug Enforcement Division. Acting on gathered intelligence, police searched the suspect’s home, where they discovered and confiscated: five cannabis plants in the growth stage, 100 grams of raw cannabis, 59.7 grams of processed cannabis in “chocolate” form, 4.5 grams of MDMA in crystalline powder form, an electronic precision scale, and cannabis seeds.

The case is being investigated by the Rethymno Drug Enforcement Division.
