With a shocking statement, senior official of the Hamas terrorist organization Gazi Hamad insists the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel was “beneficial” to the Palestinian cause, despite the deadly war still raging in the Gaza Strip, two years after the massacre in southern Israel!

In an interview with CNN, Hamad cynically said the cross-border attack in Israel, in which some 1,200 people were killed and 251 captured, created a “golden moment” for the future of Palestinians, as the ensuing war exposed the “brutality” of Israelis around the world.

“Do you know what the benefit of October 7 is now?” asked Hamad. “If you look at the [UN] General Assembly yesterday, when about 194 people opened their eyes and saw the atrocity, the brutality of Israel, and all of them condemned Israel.”

“We have been waiting for this moment for 77 years,” he continued, adding: “I think this is a golden moment for the world to change history.”

According to Hamas figures, which cannot be independently verified, more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7.

Asked by CNN if Hamas is in any way responsible for these deaths, given that it launched the war with Israel with its October 7 attack, Hamad denied that this was the case(!), suggesting there was no other way to advance the Palestinian cause…

“I know the price is too high, but I ask again, what is the alternative?” he asked, while rejecting Western insistence that Hamas should have no place in a future independent Palestinian state, saying the world cannot “exclude” the organisation as it “plays a positive role”(sic) in advancing the cause.
