The White House reacted strongly following the announcement of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner, with Director of Communications Steven Cheung attacking the committee, claiming it prioritizes politics over peace.
In a post on the platform X, Cheung stated that U.S. President Donald Trump “will continue to broker peace deals, end wars, and save lives.”
Cheung described Trump as “a man with the heart of a humanitarian,” adding, “there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the power of his will alone.”
President Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, and many of his supporters—including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—have publicly backed his candidacy.
