Corinth Canal closed until further notice due to maintenance work

Starting today, navigation through the Corinth Canal will not be permitted

The Corinth Canal is closing until further notice due to scheduled restoration work on the slopes, according to an announcement by the Port Authority of Corinth.

From Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and throughout the duration of the works, the passage of vessels through the canal will be prohibited.
Authorities will issue an updated announcement once a date for the resumption of navigation is determined.
