Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the 37-year-old Bulgarian national lost his life in Peristeri after being stabbed in the abdomen.

According to the information so far, the victim had a brief conversation with another man outside a nightclub on 6 Lassani Street in Peristeri.

A few minutes later, around 3:30 a.m., the 37-year-old collapsed on the street, bleeding heavily, while no one knows what was said between him and the man he had stepped outside to meet.

After being stabbed, the victim was rushed to the Nikaia General State Hospital, where despite doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
