A shocking video captures the moment a Rottweiler viciously attacks its 76-year-old owner in Kalamata, showing the dog throwing the man to the ground and repeatedly biting him with rage.

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon (October 28) in Kalamata, when the Rottweiler attacked the 76-year-old owner of a local shop, inflicting serious injuries.

The attack took place outdoors, and passers-by immediately called the police, reporting that a man was being mauled by a dog. When officers arrived, they tried to free the man from the animal’s grip, but the dog continued biting him with extreme aggression.

One of the officers, seeing that the man’s life was in danger, shot the Rottweiler, which fell dead.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

According to the same reports, the dog is believed to have belonged to the victim himself. The incident is being investigated by the local police department.
