Zaharova: If Italy continues to support Ukraine it will completely collapse

The comment of the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman after the partial collapse of a tower near the Colosseum in the heart of Rome

Newsroom November 3 10:22

Italy will completely collapse if its government continues to waste its taxpayers’ money on Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said after the partial collapse of a tower near the Colosseum in the heart of Rome.

“Let us recall that in May this year, the Italian Foreign Ministry announced that Italian support to Ukraine, including military aid and contributions through EU mechanisms, amounts to about 2.5 billion euros, of which about 1 billion euros is allocated for refugees, 310 million euros for state budget support, and 93 million euros for humanitarian action,” he said.

In fact, he stressed that as long as the Italian government continues to waste taxpayers’ money, Italy will collapse completely, from the economy to the towers.
