A call to the women of the Kargakis family was made by the 29-year-old’s wife, following the surrender of the three brothers Fragiadakis for the bloody incident in Vorizia.

The wife of the 29-year-old, mother of a 5-year-old child and a 10-day-old infant, appealed for calm and reason to prevail. She stressed that women are the ones who have a way to influence situations for the good of their children, according to cretalive.gr.

She also claimed, speaking to reporters, that she did not see any weapons from the side of the Fragiadakis family, but she saw very clearly, she said, the man who was shooting with a Kalashnikov from above, from the house of her 27-year-old brother-in-law, whose wife is pregnant.

For 39-year-old Fanouri, she claimed that he was seen speeding in his vehicle with his hands out. “He was carrying both a pistol and a Kalashnikov. He passed a bullet and anybody he killed. He was ‘playing us’ normally. My husband took me down the stairs because I have a 10-day-old baby. I’m breastfeeding. My other child was in the yard, and the bullets were falling there… I don’t even want to think about it… They put the bomb in my brother-in-law’s house; they didn’t respect that my co-conspirator is pregnant,” she said.

He reiterated that he saw very clearly the man shooting the Kalashnikov from above, estimating that he also killed their aunt. “We were waiting for them to surrender so we could testify,” he said.
