Eight students expelled from the Fire Service Academy – They did not appear for drug testing

The decision, published in the Government Gazette, concerns admitted candidates who did not meet their obligations regarding mandatory documentation

The Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection announced the expulsion of eight successful candidates from the Officers School and the Firefighters School of the Fire Service Academy for the academic year 2025–2026. The decision αφορά candidates who failed to appear for testing for prohibited substances and to submit the required documents.

The decision was based on the ratified lists of successful candidates from the Ministry of Education, as well as on relevant documents from the Fire Service Academy, which prove that those candidates did not present themselves for the prescribed testing.

The Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection decides:

  1. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – General Series 2024 category the admitted student to the Officers School of the Fire Service Academy, Iosif Bouchlis, son of Ioannis, because he did not appear for testing for prohibited substances and submission of documents at the Fire Service Academy. (Certificate number: 3298571126/20.10.2025).
  2. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – General Series 2024 category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Ioannis Resta, son of Vasileios, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 3231224210/20.10.2025).
  3. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – General Series 2024 category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Ioannis Dimitriou, son of Anastasios, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 4511957114/20.10.2025).
  4. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – General Series 2023 category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Ioannis Theodorou, son of Evangelos, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 1511411634/20.10.2025).
  5. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – General Series 2023 category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Maria Pouridou, daughter of Lazaros, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 6655971711/20.10.2025).
  6. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the General Lyceum – General Series category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Konstantinos Tsonis, son of Anastasios, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 4682497936/20.10.2025).
  7. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the 10% General Lyceum – Fire Service Special Category-G 2024 the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Maria Kokotsaki, daughter of Nikolaos, for the same reason. (Certificate number: 1181165492/20.10.2025).
  8. Removes from the list of successful candidates in the General Lyceum – General Series category the admitted student to the Firefighters School, Athanasios Rafaíl Kokologos, son of Georgios, because he resigned from the Firefighters School. (Certificate number: 6981881231/20.10.2025).

This decision is to be communicated to those concerned, published in the Government Gazette and posted in accordance with Circular 54/A.P.S.
