A search and rescue operation has been underway since early Monday morning (1/12) to locate a 62-year-old fisherman who is missing in the Lichnos sea area of Parga.

According to a relative who was fishing with him, the 62-year-old slipped from the boat, fell into the sea, and disappeared. The fisherman showed no signs of life for more than an hour, and the Coast Guard was immediately notified.

In the search area, there is a Coast Guard vessel and three fishing boats.
