The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) has recalled a frozen burger product after detecting salmonella. The sample tested was labeled “Frozen Burger”, batch code 31102025, with a best-before date of 31/10/2026, produced by the company “P. Kamaratou & SIA EE.” The inspection was carried out by EFET’s Regional Directorate of Peloponnese.

Tests confirmed the presence of the pathogenic microorganism Salmonella spp.

EFET has ordered the immediate recall and withdrawal of the entire batch from the market. At the same time, it urges consumers who have already purchased this product not to consume it.
