Donald Trump announced that he will sign an executive order later this week concerning the approval process for artificial intelligence applications, aiming to prevent different regulatory frameworks from emerging in each U.S. state.
“There needs to be only one regulation if we want to continue to lead in the field of artificial intelligence. I will sign an executive order this week for a single rule. You can’t expect a company to get 50 approvals every time they want to do something,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
He did not provide further details about the contents of the executive order.
