Greece, Cyprus and Israel decide on joint interdisciplinary exercises and co-training of Special Forces

The Joint Action Plan of the three countries and the Greece-Israel Defence Cooperation Programme signed in Nicosia

The “Greece-Cyprus-Israel Joint Action Plan” and the “Greece-Israel Defence Cooperation Program” for the year 2026 were signed yesterday, Monday 22 and today, Tuesday 23 December, in Nicosia.

As announced by the General Staff of National Defence, the aforementioned actions include, among others, the conduct of interdisciplinary exercises, co-training of Special Operations Forces, staff meetings, as well as talks on issues of mutual interest.

The signing of the above-mentioned agreements further strengthens military cooperation between the three states and enhances their role as factors supporting peace, stability and security in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
