The construction site of the new Heraklion International Airport at Castelli was visited on Friday morning by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

He is accompanied by Transport and Infrastructure Minister Christos Dimas, the new CAA Commander George Vagenas, and GEK Terna Group Chairman George Peristeri.
Mitsotakis’ visit comes in the context of the signing of the contract for the supply and installation of the air navigation systems, which will put the airport project on the final track to completion.

Immediately after the visit to Crete, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will depart for Zagreb and the informal summit of the leaders of the European People’s Party.
