Brooklyn Beckham unfollows Gordon Ramsay’s twins after chef’s comments on family rift

Brooklyn Beckham unfollowed Holly Ramsay and Jack Ramsay on Instagram, just days after Gordon Ramsay publicly commented on the family rift involving the Beckhams

Newsroom February 19 05:30

Despite unfollowing the twins, the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham continues to follow Ramsay’s wife, Tana Ramsay, as well as their other two children, Tilly Ramsay and Oscar Ramsay.

A source cited by the Daily Mail said the Beckhams and the Ramsays share an “almost family-like relationship,” noting that “all the children grew up together.” The source added that “Brooklyn always loved spending time with everyone,” but claimed that “his friendship with Jack no longer exists, which is really sad.” According to the same person, Gordon and Tana Ramsay feel “upset” by the development, as they are “very, very close to Brooklyn” and have known him “since he was very young.”

The report also claims that Brooklyn no longer sees many of the friends he had before meeting his wife, Nicola Peltz, in 2017. The source described the situation as “very sad,” stressing that these are people with whom he shared important moments, adding that “Holly is one of them.”

Gordon Ramsay’s public intervention

Gordon Ramsay, who has maintained a close friendship with David Beckham since the early 2000s—when both families moved from the UK to the US—addressed the dispute following Brooklyn’s lengthy Instagram post last month. In that post, Brooklyn alleged, among other things, that his parents were trying to undermine his relationship with his wife.

In an interview with The Sun, given while promoting his upcoming Netflix series Being Gordon Ramsay, the chef attributed Brooklyn’s stance to his feelings for Peltz, saying: “It’s difficult, isn’t it, when you’re madly in love? Love is blind.”

Ramsay described the situation as “a difficult one,” adding that Brooklyn “desperately wants to stand on his own two feet” and “forge his own path,” which he said he respects. He also issued a public warning: “But remember where you came from. And honestly, one day you won’t have your mum and dad, and you have to understand that.”

The chef said Victoria Beckham is “upset, and rightly so,” recalling that he and his family attended Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz’s wedding in Palm Beach in 2022. He also подчеркed that he knows “every hour of every day” how much David loves his eldest son.

In the same interview, Ramsay revealed that he and Brooklyn have “exchanged a few messages” and that their relationship remains “solid,” adding: “I love him. He has an incredible heart.”
