An impressive video created with the help of artificial intelligence reconstructs Knossos of 1700 BC, transporting the audience to the era of the peak of the Minoan civilization, the first advanced civilization in Europe.

The digital reconstruction presents the Palace of Knossos as it is believed to have been in ancient times: an extensive complex with more than 1,000 rooms, without defensive walls, but with highly advanced infrastructure.

It is particularly notable that the palace featured an advanced plumbing system and flush toilets, a technology that would not appear elsewhere in Europe for thousands of years.

Special emphasis is also placed on the social organization of the period, as the video suggests that this was a civilization not ruled by kings but possibly by priestesses, a feature that distinguishes it from other ancient cultures.

According to the narration, the Minoan civilization faced two major catastrophes: a powerful volcanic eruption and later an invasion of warriors from mainland Greece, events that contributed to its decline.

The video connects the collapse of this civilization with the birth of well-known myths such as the Labyrinth and the Minotaur, suggesting that these legends may have arisen from the memories and ruins of a real society.
