Pakistan is still awaiting an official response from Iran regarding the confirmation of sending a delegation to participate in the second round of peace talks with the United States in Islamabad, Pakistan’s Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said in a post on X.

“The decision by Iran to join the talks before the expiry of the two-week ceasefire is critical,” Tarar wrote, adding that Pakistan has made sincere efforts to persuade the Iranian leadership to take part in the second round of negotiations.
