Paul McCartney confirmed that his new album will include a song titled “Home To Us,” which will be his first duet with fellow Ringo Starr. The track will also feature Chrissie Hynde and Sharleen Spiteri.

The song will appear on The Boys Of Dungeon Lane, which is set for release on May 29 and marks his first album since McCartney III in 2020.

Paul McCartney is expected to reveal previously unknown details from his childhood years growing up in Liverpool, in what has been described as “his most introspective album to date.”

The single Days We Left Behind was already presented at a special event a few days ago. “Home To Us” is the first of Paul McCartney’s solo songs to feature his former Beatles bandmate, and it will also be the only track on the upcoming album to include the drummer.

The song also features backing vocals by Sharleen Spiteri and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. Andrew Watt has been hired as producer, while Paul McCartney plays most of the instruments on the LP — just as he did on his first solo album from 1970, McCartney.

“Ringo went into the studio and played some drums. I told Andrew that we had to write a song and send it to him. So this song was made with Ringo in mind,” explained Paul McCartney.
