The awards ceremony was held in Venice, attracting representatives from the international yachting, architecture, and design communities.

The award was presented in the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026 for the groundbreaking design of the SOJO, which was recognized for the exceptional quality of its refit design. Winning the International Yacht & Aviation Award 2026 marks a significant milestone for IPYD, further strengthening its position in the global yachting industry.
Ira Petromanolaki, founder of the design studio and lead yacht designer, said:
“This award is a great honor for us and an important recognition of our work in superyacht design. It is wonderful to see hard work rewarded in such a prestigious way.”
SOJO stood out thanks to its contemporary aesthetic, thoughtfully redesigned interior layout, and enhanced functionality throughout the vessel. What defines the yacht’s refit is its balance of contrasts: classical architectural elements are seamlessly combined with modern minimalism, creating a refined and sophisticated onboard experience.
