A fire broke out this afternoon (1/7) in an agricultural and forested area in Agios Georgios Methana.

Thirty-eight firefighters, along with a team of ground personnel from the 9th EMODE, 15 vehicles, two aircraft, and one helicopter are working to extinguish the fire. Local government water trucks are assisting in the firefighting efforts.
