New Democracy holds first place with 29% in the July trends poll by MRB, when projected across the entire sample, with the governing party maintaining its strength compared with the corresponding December survey, in which it recorded 29.2%.
In second place is Alexis Tsipras’s ELAS party, with 17.6% (note: it had not been included in the December 2025 trends poll), while PASOK comes third with 11.1%, losing three percentage points compared with December (14.1%).
They are followed by “Hope for Democracy” with 8.8%, Greek Solution with 8.7%, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 7.3%, Course of Freedom with 5%, Voice of Reason with 3.3%, MeRA25 with 3%, Democrats with 2.1%, SYRIZA with 1.5%, and New Left with 1.1%.
In voting intention (with the December figures shown in parentheses), New Democracy records 23.8% (23.8%), followed by ELAS with 14.4%. PASOK receives 9.1% (10.9%), Hope for Democracy 7.2%, Greek Solution 7.1% (9.1%), KKE 6% (6.7%), Course of Freedom 4.1% (7.5%), Voice of Reason 2.7% (3.9%), MeRA25 2.5% (2.3%), Democrats – Progressive Centre 1.7% (1.5%), SYRIZA 1.2% (6%), and New Left 0.9% (1.2%).
Regarding the “victory expectation” measure, New Democracy scores 46.1%, followed by ELAS with 9.7%, PASOK with 5.3%, Hope for Democracy with 4.7%, and Greek Solution with 4.1%. SYRIZA, KKE, MeRA25 and Voice of Reason are all below 2%.
In response to the question of who would be the most suitable prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is the leading choice with 25.1%, holding a 10-point lead over the second-place Alexis Tsipras (15.1%). They are followed by Nikos Androulakis with 8.6%, Maria Karystianou with 7.3%, Kyriakos Velopoulos with 6.8%, Dimitris Koutsoumbas with 4.3%, Zoe Konstantopoulou with 4%, Afroditi Latinopoulou with 2.5%, Yanis Varoufakis with 2.4%, Stefanos Kasselakis with 1.4%, and Socrates Famellos with 1%.
The MRB trends poll also measured voter flows toward New Democracy, PASOK, ELAS and Hope for Democracy compared with the result of the June 2024 European elections, the most important problems facing citizens — with the cost of living ranked first — as well as comparisons between Mitsotakis, Androulakis, Karystianou and Tsipras regarding their ability to govern the country.
