Authorities are on alert following the disappearance of two minor girls in Glyfada. Nine-year-olds Artemis Andrikopoulou and Aphrodite Andrikopoulou have been missing since 24 July.
According to “The Smile of the Child”, the case involves parental abduction, and following a prosecutor’s order, the Amber Alert Hellas mechanism has been activated.
The announcement
On 24 July 2026, the mother abducted the minors Andrikopoulou Artemis, 9, and Andrikopoulou Aphrodite, 9, from the Glyfada area, and they have been missing ever since. “The Smile of the Child” was informed of the girls’ disappearance on Friday, 31 July 2026, and, following a prosecutor’s order, immediately proceeded to activate the AMBER ALERT HELLAS mechanism.
Andrikopoulou Aphrodite, 9, has brown eyes and brown hair, stands 1.35m tall and weighs 35kg. What she was wearing on the day she disappeared is unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact “The Smile of the Child” round the clock via the European Missing Children Hotline, at any police station across the country, or through the Missing Alert app, which provides live updates on the case. Should Artemis and Aphrodite Andrikopoulou be found, a further press release will be issued so that posters can be taken down immediately from wherever they have been displayed.
