Six returned to Turkey

206 refugees arrived on the island of Lesvos Thursday, bringing the total number trapped in the northern Aegean islands to 8,190. Meanwhile, six migrants, aunt males from Pakistan and Algeria, were returned to Turkey from Lesvos in accordance to the EU-Turkey refugee agreement. The migrants boarded a Frontex ship and left from the port of Mytilene for the costal Turkish town of Dikili at 9 am. The men waived their asylum rights and will be taken to a migrant camp at Constantinople. Currently there are 4,084 refugees on Lesvos, 3,061 on Chios and 1,045 on Samos.
