The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Institute recorded the tremor with zero focal depth
A 3.9 earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded in the sea, 20 kilometres northwest of the city of Ikaria, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Institute recorded the tremor, also at 3.9 Richter, with zero focal depth.
The quake struck at 08:25 on Friday morning. Another weak seismic earthquake of 3.2 Richter followed at 09:17.
