Suddeutsche Zeitung: Did the EU leave Samaras exposed?

According to the German newspaper, “Greece must solve and not cover up its problems”

It is not just SYRIZA that is targeted by the international media but the government  as well, especially the Prime Minister who receives criticism for bringing forward the presidential election process. German media has a harsh attitude towards the current situation in Greece and even wonders through an article on  “Suddeutsche Zeitung” about if “the EU left Samaras exposed”. More specifically  the German newspaper writes: “The EU should have supported Antonis Samaras or has left him exposed so that he be led to the solution of early elections for President of the Republic and perhaps early general elections”. And of course the newspaper answers its own question by saying that “The answer should be, of course not. Greece must solve and not cover up its problems. This applies to every government, whether led by Samaras or by anyone else. Among other things, the German newspaper refers to  the various scenarios for early elections for President of the Republic and “sees” Greece being led into early national elections which causes a major concern to all those who were accustomed to the fact that the current Prime Minister and his coalition are predictable.”
