Most of the faculty and staff of the Open University is getting paid by programs funded by the National Strategic Reference Framework which expires in a month and Greek government has not found yet the required funds to continue the program, according to Ethnos newspaper.

There are about 200 people in the staff who are at risk being laid off after the NSRF program expires and the university cannot operate if those people leave.
