European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis will arrive at Lesvos island on Thursday to visit health centers and other areas accommodating refugees and migrants.
He will be accompanied by the general secretary of Public Health Yiannis Baskozos.
The Commissioner’s will first visit Mytilene’s health center and then the UNHCR Reception Centre in Slaka Sykamnias and the beach Platanos, where refugees and migrants arrive. Before leaving the island, Andriukaitis will also visit the Identification and Registration Center in Moria.
