The election process for the new leader of New Democracy party should have been started since 7 am on Sunday in 833 polling stations, but polls are not opened yet due to technical problems.
According to information, there are problems with the online system and voters who wanted to vote early in the morning left the polling stations irritated.
All options are open although New Democracy recommends to voters to be patient hoping that the system will be on again.
The candidates, though, commented on the situation through their Twitter account with Apostolos Tzitzikostas asking to fix any technical problems immediately saying that it is unthinkable to encounter so many problems, Kyriakos Mitsotakis urging voters to go to polling stations after 9 am, and Adonis Georgiadis apologizing for the inconvenience.
