Greek politicians were visited by carol singers as per the Greek tradition that takes place on Christmas Eve

The morning of December 24 in Greece traditionally has children going from door to door singing carols, and political leaders are no exception. Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos was visited by the band of the armed forces, followed by the Hellenic Lyceum, the Federation of Cypriot Organizations of Greece, the Efxinos Pontos Club of Naoussas and the children’s choir of the Municipality of Papagos and Cholargos.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras also got a visit from the national nursery school, the music high school of Ilion and the Kostilata association of Arta. The Kostilata group gave him a traditional woven bag for his wife, Peristera, and a gold-plated orange branch.
