The Ministry of Health is examining a report concerning Elena Venizelou maternity ward, titled “Regarding legality of emergency times at of medical and health personnel of the hospital.”  The report by General Adminstrative Superviser Leandros Rakintzis brings a number of infringements to light, including a Greek vet that was found offering his services as an obstetritian in the pathology ward.

Plasmatic casualty duties were also found including for prostate examinations at the maternity ward as well as departments that do not exist.  Furthermore, midwives freelance at the hospital without having a background in the field.

The political leadership is now examining the bizarre accusations.
