The mother and stepfather of Kostas Polyzos, aged 23, murdered five years ago at Siatista Kozani appeared before the prosecutor at Aspropyrgos shortly after noon on Friday. With frozen gazes they passed through the door of the prosecutor and failed to answer questions posed to them by Proto Thema.

The case had drawn publicity five years ago when the young man went missing on February 18, 2011, and appeared in a missing person’s show, “Light at the End of the Tunnel”.

Following an investigation, the prosecutor of Kozani issued an arrest warrant for the stepfather of the young man and for his mother who both stand accused for the mother of Polyzos.

Both were arrested in Athens on Friday borning and face charges of homicide as well as other misdemeanours including perjury, forgery, etc.
