Newsroom February 7 01:33

A rape case revealed recently has shocked the Austrian community.

A 10-year-old boy was so brutally raped by an Iraqi migrant in public swimming pool in Vienna that he had to be hospitalised for his injuries.

Vienna’s police have been severely criticized for not disclosing earlier the case accusing them of covering up the case. The residents argue that they should have been informed so as to protect themselves.

In fact, police had to issue a statement on the rape case after the incident was made known to the public through Facebook.

As officials claimed, they did not disclose any information on the incident, because they wanted to protect the child.

On the December 2nd the Iraqi migrant took by force the young boy into a changing cubicle, pulled down his swimming trunks and assaulted him.

Although the boy cried out he was not heard by anyone, Kronen Zeitung has reported.

A lifeguard immediately called an ambulance after the boy went to him in tears, while the Iraqi was entertaining himself by repeatedly jumping off the three-metre diving board.

Police arrested him and during an interrogation, he told them that it was a ‘sexual emergency’ as he had not had sex in four months.
