One of the hottest and driest places on earth is again full of life thanks to El Nino phenomenon. The Death Valley is experiencing its biggest explosion of flowers since 2005.

This once-in-a-decade natural phenomenon is dubbed the “super bloom describing the combination of rare yellow, pink, purple and red flowers which cover the desert landscape.

Death Valley is a desert and National Park straddling California and Nevada states of US. It advertises itself as “Hottest, Driest, Lowest” and it is the place that has noted the highest recorded temperature on earth.

But, in October 2015, flash floods were recorded as consequence of the current major El Nino event and as a result the desert blossomed again.

The last occurrences were in 2005 and 1998 and were also due to an El Nino weather pattern.
