Government spokeswoman, Sophia Voultepsi, talked about a “provoked strike” and accused the main opposition party and Mr. Tsipras personally for taking advantage of the situation for political purposes.

“If employees refuse to comply with government’s decision will be fired,” said Mr. Georgiadis and added: “I guess no one wants to be dismissed especially during this time”.
Earlier, the former president of GENOP PPC Nikos Fotopoulos called the strikers not to comply with the court decision, whereas SYRIZA’s MP Dimitris Stratoulis stated that “SYRIZA denounces the coalition government and its policies and tactics”.

The general secretary of the Communist Party of Greece, Dimitris Koutsoubas, stressed that the problems will not be solved, if the government continues this type of tactics.
