The General Confederation of Workers (GSEE) executive board will convene todayy to decide whether it will provide legal and union coverage to Public Power Corp. (PPC) unions’ possible labour action.

According to unionists, GSEE is considering the possibility of local labour unions calling a series of strikes with different demands every time, which will also cover the company’s workers.

Private sector labour union GSEE demands from the government “take back the civil mobilisation measure” and refers to the “abuse of the democratic institutions” and declares that it will “support with all legal means the struggle and the decision of PPC’s unions and workers”.
