Anyone who has seen the movie ‘Dr. Dolittle’ has probably wondered what it would be like to actually be able to hold a conversation with their pets. A new cat collar could be on the right track. The ‘Catterbox’ collar translates cat vocalisations to a human voice! the Hi-tech collar developed by Mars’ Temptaions Lab claims the talking collar brings cats and owners closer together. Prototypes of the collar have been already launched in the US and New Zealand. By analysing cat vocalisations the developers say it essentially turns cat meows into human voices.
