Athina Onassis and Alvaro de Miranda Neto have separated after 11 years of marriage, a Brazilian newspaper claims.

According to Epoca newspaper, the 31-year-old heiress of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and her 43-year-old husband decided to split, since their marriage had been falling apart.

The crisis in their marriage was confirmed by the best man of the couple with whom the journalist and biographer of Aristotle Onassis, Dimitris Liberopoulos, talked.

Dimitris Liberopoulos wrote that according to what one of the best men of the couple, Konstantinos Kotronakis, said they are facing a crisis in their marriage and are dealing with some psychological problems, but they do not know if this crisis will lead to a divorce.
