The 16 year old daughter, Niki of Greek MP Nikos Nikolopoulos died, in the intensive care unit of the University hospital of Rio-Antirio, Thursday. The teenage girl had suffered a pulmonary edema last week, which resulted in a stroke and a heart attack before being rushed to hospital. Her mother, Tasia Manolopoulou bid Niki a farewell in a heartfelt post on facebook that reads, among other things, ‘You came as an angel, you leave as one..You lived great and you will live even greater up where you are going…’. The parents have decided to donate her organs, and according to sources the process of removing her organs is underway. The funeral procession is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday at 5pm at the Saint Andrew Church in Patras.
