He revealed his resignation as Prime Minister in June

The Ex Prime Minister has revealed that he is shortly to be an ex Member of Parliament with immediate effect, just months after saying he’d stay on as a backbencher.
Mr Cameron has been a member of Parliament for Witney in Oxfordshire since 2001, and was elected Prime Minister in the General Election of May 2010. He announced his resignation as Prime Minister in June, after he was on the losing side of the EU referendum . Mr Cameron had previously vowed to stay on as MP for Witney until 2020.
