Approximately 33,000 people, including eminent and social distinguished British, hid billions from the public revenues, in order to pay less tax.
According to BBC, amongst those seem to be stars of showbiz such as the singer George Michael, the actor and … knight Sir Michael Caine, footballers David Beckham and Wayne Rooney, the singer Gary Barlow, the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber etc.

A few days ago, the London «Times» revealed in their front page the volume of tax evasion involving 1600 people through the «Mercury Tax Group» company.
If to the above number another 1300 is added through « Ingenious Media »company, plus all the rest, then it seems that the total number of Brits who have allegedly been involved in controversial programs of avoidance (tax avoidance schemes) is approximately 33,000.
