The fines start at 100 euro, amounting to 1% of the tax for each month of delay, even if the statement is submitted in the same month (July).

At the end of this week or early next, the Taxisnet system is expected to reopen but most statements will be considered late.

The Greek Ministry assesses that after the 14-day extension period about 99% of taxpayers have submitted their tax statements in time.
