Turkey bombs Kurdish positions inside Syria and Iraq

Target areas used by PKK to transport weapons into Turkey, Turkish sources claim

The Turkish air force bombed Kurdish positions in the mountainous region of Sizar in northern Iraq and in north-east Syria. The air strikes were carried out in the morning hours of Tuesday against PKK targets in the two areas, according to Turkish sources. The same sources claim the PKK uses these two regions to transfer weapons into Turkey.
