In a close match for the Greek basketball league semi-finals Panathinaikos overcame a gutsy AEK to win 81-72 and take a 2-1 lead in the best series. The greens need one more victory to clinch a spot in the finals where champions Olympiakos will be waiting after they knocked out Aris Thessaloniki.
