The Pentagon claims that the transfer of multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) from Russia to Ukrainian to pro-Russian separatists is imminent.

In addition, weapon systems are so close to the border of the two countries that could potentially be delivered today, according to Washington.

A Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren said that: “We have indications that the Russians intend to supply heavier and more sophisticated systems of multiple rocket launchers in the very near future”.

Further, he stressed that the Ministry of Defense believes that the transfer is imminent and is likely to become even the next few hours, as detected approaching closer to the border. “We believe that they are able to carry this equipment at any time,” he concluded.
