The people running over Kokkori bridge at Zagori mountain are just some of the 1,300 Greek and European athletes that participated in the North Face Zagori Mountain Running 2014 event. They ran through picturesque and challenging landscapes of the region. The event was held for the fourth consecutive year from July 26-27. Runners crossed the Vikou-Aoou National Park and had the opportunity to see the impressive deep Vikos Goge along the Timfi mountain as well as the villages known as Zagorohoria – a network of 46 villages spread all over the mountains on the north east of the city of Ioannina.
