Ten more Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in a new round of bloodshed after Israel struck a U.N. school being used to shelter displaced people in the southern border of Rafah. This new bombing, on Sunday, marks the third strike against a U.N. school for displaced people in Gaza with the last attack having occurred on July 30 in the town of Jabalia where 15 people were killed.
The U.N. blamed Israel for the attack, however the Israel military had no comment to make.
This latest attack brings the Palestinian death toll to 1,700 people. This morning another 30 people had lost their lives in attacks. Their death comes to dampen hopes for a permanent ceasefire.
A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo today for a round of peace negotiations, however the Israeli side refused to attend.
