Mr. Netanyahu, in a later statement he stressed that Israel has no intention to hurt the people of Gaza, noting that Hamas itself harms them.

” We deliver a blow to Hamas and to its terrorist organizations. We have no intention to hurt the people of Gaza, but Hamas is the one that hurts them as well as trying to prevent them from receiving any humanitarian assistance, “he said.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the operation will continue until calmness in the area gets restored.

Israeli fire against Turkish journalists

There are also reports that Israeli soldiers opened fire against the team of news agency Anadolu.

CNN-Türk transmitted from Gaza that the incident occurred after the beginning of today’s ceasefire, while a cameraman Mr. Metin Yuksel Kaya was also injured in his hand.

A British member of humanitarian organization also loses his life
