Incoming European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker had lunch with Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis, deputy Prime Minister Evangelos Venizelos and Defence Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, who is set to be Greece’s new Commissioner. Mr. Juncker denied to comment on what Greece’s new portfolio would be, however there is speculation that this could be in the sectors of immigration, transportation or energy.

Earlier, Mr. Junker had met with Mr. Samaras.
