The video posted on the Internet featuring two pairs of teenagers under the age of 18 publicly taking part in competitions of a sexual nature has caused the prosecutor’s intervention.

On Monday, the deputy public prosecutor of Criminal Court of Rhodes, Ms. Sofia-Maria Vaitsi, ordered police sub-directorate of Rhodes to conduct an emergency preliminary examination, while asking to increase health checks in bars, cafés, restaurants, etc. in cooperation with the Police Department of Rhodes in all areas of the island as Orfanidou, Lindos, Faliraki, Palaia Poli, etc.

Checks will be conducted on a daily basis in accordance with public prosecutor’s request and every 15 days until the end of the tourist season a report will be written including the check findings and will be delivered to the Prosecutor of Rhodes.

As for the video published on the Internet a research will be conducted to locate the club and call the staff and owner to testify.
