A shooter has reportedly gunned down a business rival at a Moscow confectionary factory and remains at large, police told local media. Several people have been taken hostage, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti.
A director of the factory in southeastern Moscow reportedly opened fire on a business rival Wednesday morning. One man was shot dead and at least two more people were reportedly injured. The assailant took several people hostage and the police are trying to establish contact with him, a police source told local media.
Several bailiffs might be among the injured, according to the Mash news telegram channel; they were reportedly trying to recover the factory’s substantial debts.
